The problem of the mint and the place where the coins were produced is important, but still debated, and as long as the issuer will be unknown for sure, doubts will influence also the location of the mint. The most important fact remains the findspot. As we will see, the discoveries are focused only around Sarmizegetusa, in Orăștie Mountains, so it is likely that the coins were produced here. Judita Winkler wrote that they were minted in the Southern Danubian regions, but in this case, not discoveries were made there, thus the hypotesis is contradicted.
